Nearly three weeks since my installation as Master of Deo Confidimus and I am still overwhelmed. W. Bro Russell did an outstanding installation. Bro James, Bro Roy and Bro Tim done terrific working tools. W Bro Stan's festive board was second to none. W Bro Les, I know how hard you worked and it is noted and appreciated.
The support I received on my installation and am continuing to receive from everyone at Deo confidimus is truly appreciated, I will do my utmost best to reward you all by doing my best as Master of Deo Confidimus.
Last, but definitely not least, a warm thank you to all the guests, you all helped to make the 300th meeting memorable and will never be forgotten by me.

TO THE WM.MICHAEL TREW, ALL THE OFFICERS & BRETHEN OF THE DEO CONFIDIMUS LODGE, WHAT A FANTASTIC MEETING WE HAD ON SAT 15th FEB 2014, THE WORK IN THE TEMPLE WAS OF THE HIGHEST ORDER. THE PRESENTATION OF WORKING TOOLS AND THE ADDRESSES TO THE MASTER, WARDENS AND THE BRETHREN WAS SUPERB. THE WORK BY THE INSTALLING MASTER (IPM) COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE BETTER. THIS PROVES WHAT A CREDIT TO FREEMASONARY THIS LODGE IS.THE FESTIVE BOARD WAS UNBELIEVABLE WITH A 7 COURSE MEAL AND FREE PRESENTATION GIFTS FOR ALL, INCLUDING A FREE BAR WITH CHAMPAGNE WINE AND DRINKS THE DAY THIS WAS ARRANGED BY W.BRO STAN LEWIS THIS MEETING HAD TO BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED WITH A FULL HOUSE IN ATENDANCE. (WELL DONE TO ALL).

Hi Steve,
Thanks for a very enjoyable evening, the ceremony was fantastic and the festive board equally so. The hospitality extended by the Lodge was excellent. I am only sorry that I had to leave before the very end of the festive board.
Thanks again,
Best regards,
Nick.

I was delighted to have the opportunity of attending the 300th Meeting of Deo Confidimus, which was also an Installation Meeting, on the 15th February. My first impression was the exceptionally friendly and warm welcome from all the Brethren. This was followed by a fantastic meeting and it was encouraging to see so many younger Brethren in attendance. Indeed the working tools were presented by younger Brethren - two M. Masons and one Fellow Craft and were undertaken to an exceptionally high standard. I attend many meetings and I would go so far as to say that I probably will not see the work undertaken by all three to such a high standard in the next nine months. The Brethren made it a very Special meeting and it is not often that the Festive Board is preceded by smoked salmon and Champagne!! needless to say - along with the rest of the meeting - it was excellent.

Hi Russell,
Many thanks again for your invitation to the 300th Deo Confidimus meeting.
The ritual was a very high quality throughout and you should also be very proud of your performance as the installing Master which was superb throughout - the suppository just added to the evening!!
The festive board was also much fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy the night, which was my record late finish!!
Many thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Dear W. Bro Russell,
Congratulations and doing a wonderful job taking the meeting and installing your new
Master into the chair.
Everyone really did their parts in a fashion that I have never experienced at Deo before and I congratulate everyone,as they must have put a lot of hard work in at Lodge of Instruction.
So well done the LOI Preceptor.
The new Master W.Bro. Michael Trew also has got into the position really well and I expect good things for the rest of the year.
Once again thank you for inviting me. It was a real Masonic Treat.
Sincerely and fraternally

For the attention of W Bro S M Yates PPJGW, PZ - Secretary

Dear and Bro Steve
L6253 Deo Confidimus Lodge

I write further to my attendance at the above last evening, in order to thank you, most sincerely, for your very warm welcome afforded me on my visit.

The Ceremony of Installation was truly first class and the Installing Master is to be congratulated for his outstanding work; it’s obvious that he had worked extremely hard in preparation for Micky’s ‘special day’

Thank you for arranging for me to be seated at Micky’s side with my very good friend, W Bro John Helliar, at the Festive Board and to enjoy your good company and conversation over dinner

It was good to see Micky receive a personal ‘Master’s Chair’, made by W Bro David Lilley; there are very few of us who have been privileged to receive such an important and significant work of art; I treasure mine and it takes pride of place at my seaside residence.

I have to say that the very generous £300.00 cheque donation to the RMBI was a complete surprise; please be kind enough to thank all those responsible for orchestrating this unexpected gift, which I’ll take to the office tomorrow for processing, ensuring that an appropriate receipt is sent.

The Lodge is most fortunate to have you as its most efficient Executive Officer.

With kind regards

Yours sincerely and Fraternally

Grand Vice President

It was agreed that a very good meeting was had by all at our Nov meeting where the W.M, W.Bro Russell Segal performed a double initiation ceremony in his usual very confident manner. Also a special mention goes to the two decons Bro Richard Tucker & Bro Roy Davy who took charge of the two candidates for the good work they both performed. Also our fellowcraft Bro James Quinn who presented the first degree working tools in an excellent manor, this being the first time he has performed in open lodge. Well done to all.
A special warm welcome to the two new members of the lodge Bro's Richard Dealhoy & Steve Finan, hoping freemasonry will mean as much to you as it dose to me.
